Mrs. Ponder's Kindergarten Class Art Project

In Kindergarten art class during spring 2021, students learned about the work of American artist Jasper Johns. Each student created his/her own alphabet in this style. Additionally, artists created a letter each, to complete this class alphabet full of color and repetition just like Jasper Johns.

Each Class created this project in Art Class with Mrs. Holt and each beautiful project is in a 16 X 20 shadow box frame.

Mrs. Hammett's Kindergarten Class Art Project

Mrs Jacoby's First Grade Class Art Project

Much of first grades art curriculum is based around the elements of art, such as line, shape, color, pattern, etc. In creating this collaborative and colorful work, each artist was asked to use line, shape, and color and repeating patterns onto popsicle sticks. Together at their simple designs create a unique and complex work.
Each Class created this project in Art Class with Mrs. Holt and each beautiful project is in a 16 X 20 shadow box frame.

Second grade artists learned about the work of Christian Robinson and his book, “Last Stop at Market Street”.  Upon completion of their own works, each artist created buildings to be a part of this second grade town. Their favorite and best buildings are seen in this collaborative work. Students selected details, colors, and even people to be a part of their unique buildings.
Each Class created this project in Art Class with Mrs. Holt and each beautiful project is in a 16 X 20 shadow box frame.
