Mrs. Bennett's 3rd Grade Class Project
Blessed in Annunciation Catholic Church to now Bless your home. Mrs. Bennett’s 3rdgrade class created a beautiful and inspirational work of art to bless your home and inspire your family. Using recycled wood from the recent Annunciation church renovation, the class experimented with mixing metallic paints, and stamps to create the stunning work of art on the recycled wood that was in the church. Underneath the chaotic use of colors and images, much like our day to day lives, a beautiful message from Mother Teresa is revealed. “I used to believe that Prayer changes things, but now, I know that Prayer changes us, and we change things.” This piece will become a focal point to brighten your home, as the work of art is also light feature. Warm led lights shine around the inspirational message and images. Uniquely, the piece is also backlit symbolizing how one bright light can indeed change the world. Our students were extremely proud to be able to make something beautiful by recycling something that meant so much to our community.
